In 1993 Dan Brown became inspired to write thriller novels after reading ‘ The Doomsday Conspiracy ‘ by Sidney Sheldon.After facing setbacks in his music career he moved to Los Angeles in 1991 and taught Spanish at Beverly Hills Prep School.Dan Brown joined the National Academy of Songwriters and met Blythe Newlon, a woman that helped promote his music career.He was the producer of a children’s cassette entitled ‘ Synth Animals.‘ After graduating from Amherst in 1986, Brown began his music career. Brown graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and then attended Amherst College, where he majored in English and Spanish. ![]() His mother was a music professor chiefly involved in practicing religious music.He did his schooling at Phillips Exeter Academy, considered a highly exclusive school in Exeter and where his father was a mathematics instructor.Dan Brown was born on 22nd June 1964 in Exeter, New Hampshire.
